Ambience - 4/5
Even in the off season, Ocean Lakes is bustling. It has more than 800 campsites and more than 2,500 annual lease sites over 310 acres, so it feels like a small city.

Noise Level - 3/5
With the size of the campground also comes an increase of noise. It is obviously quiet during quiet hours (11pm to 7am), but there is quite a bit of noise the rest of the day, whether it’s from people walking by or golf carts playing music.

Recreation - 5/5
Ocean Lakes has something for everyone. There is a pool and water park, mini golf, bicycle rental, outdoor games like volleyball and shuffleboard, playgrounds, arcade, Sunday morning Worship Service and much, much more. Plus, the campground has direct beach access.

Amenities - 5/5
All of the campsites at Ocean Lakes are pull-throughs that accommodate a 40’ campers with slides. Each site has water, sewer, 20-30-50 camp electric, cable TV, WiFi, daily trash pickup and a picnic table. A majority of the sites are concrete pads, the others are unpaved. There are several bathhouses, a laundry facility, a large camp store and several places to eat.

Dog Friendly - 5/5
Ocean Lakes is a great campground for dogs, as long as they don’t mind crowds. There is a large dog park with a variety of activities for dogs, including some agility equipment. Plus, there are two DIY dog wash stations - each wash is $8.

Overall - 4/5
Ocean Lakes is a great campground for people and families who want a lot of activity options while camping and don’t mind a bit of hustle and bustle. This may not be the best option for someone looking for a quiet, secluded escape.
