1200 campsites, including annual lease sites
$49-$99 per night, depending on season and section

Ambience - 4/5
Myrtle Beach Travel Park sits on 125 acres with more than 700 campsites plus annual lease sites, but it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly large. It has a quiet, laid-back pace.

Noise Level - 4/5
Our campsite along the lake was very quiet. We were removed from the main road, so the vehicle and foot traffic along our spot was minimal. I imagine it’s noisier at the high of the summer season!

Recreation - 5/5
MBTP sits on a half-mile of oceanfront, so there is easy access to the beach. There’s also a swimming pool with a lazy river, an indoor pool, a splash pool for younger kids, an arcade, and playground. You can rent pedal boats, paddle boars and kayaks to enjoy the lake.

Amenities - 5/5
A majority of the campsites are pull-throughs and there are some back-in sites along the lake. Most of the sites have 30- and 50- amp electric, water and sewer, though there are a few site that are only water/electric. The sites are unpaved and include a picnic table. The campground has cable TV, WiFi, and daily trash pickup.

Dog Friendly - 3/5
MBTP allows pets at its RV sites, but there is not a dog park.

Overall - 4/5
Myrtle Beach Travel Park is a good campground for people who want convenient beach access along with other activities. It is a big campground but doesn’t feel too busy or crowded. For beautiful views and a more secluded experience, opt for a back-in spot along the lake! We also recommend eating at Breakfast by the Sea, a restaurant at the campground. Get the blueberry biscuit if they have them!
